Vertical lifts or VRC's (vertical reciprocating conveyors) are an efficient and safe choice for moving goods between levels whether in a manufacturing, distribution, retail, commercial, government or other application. Ideal for freight movement, too. Placement options offer great convenience as well: through the floor, at mezzanine or work platform edges, and indoors or outdoors. Fewer regulatory code issues, too - vertical lifts are exempt from national elevator codes since they don't move people - only freight, raw materials and product. Typically consisting of support columns, a carriage and mechanical or hydraulic lift actuating system, they are able to be integrated with conveyor systems as well.
