You have full access to your Cisco-Eagle team at every stage of the process—before, during and after project completion. The same sales, engineering and customer service teams will work with you, ensuring stability and execution throughout project planning, design, implementation, installation and post-commissioning stages.
When a system is implemented, we provide the services and support necessary for its success. We also help you plan the details—everything from spare parts lists, maintenance manuals, training and direct support. Below is a breakdown of this support system:
Cisco-Eagle's system acceptance and commissioning process helps ensure a smooth handoff from our project management teams to customers. We want our clients to be satisfied and comfortable with their system and work diligently to ensure this happens.
Once your system is installed, a walk through is conducted for an initial inspection of the conveyor system. The system is checked for workmanship and adherence to standards. Mechanical, electrical drawings and proposal documentation are used to verify system compliance. Any corrections or adjustments are recorded on a punch list. Everything that isn't satisfactory—down to paint touch up—is noted. Anything that affects systems compliance, functionality or safety is corrected before the system is allowed to operate. In particular, safety issues are a focus at this stage. You will receive this punch list with its corrections and expected completion dates.
Once the system is deemed safe to activate, conveyors are observed for case movement, intended flow, unit orientation, transportation, and accumulation and transferring, where necessary. Support structures are checked for compliance with layout drawings, critical dimensions, plumbness, levelness, and stability.
If any item doesn't comply with the description of operations, it's added to the punch list. This testing is done with real loads and your personnel to simulate real-world conditions. At this stage, critical spare parts lists are generated.
We're dedicated to a successful system, which means hands-on training for your personnel. Training is conducted by our project management team and potentially selected vendor partners. This typically occurs during acceptance testing. Formal training can include:
Systems training is conducted hands-on, both formally and informally. Our teams work directly with you and your employees to ensure a smooth transition. Maintenance training is also available. Understanding the maintenance, repair and functionality of your material handling system lets it achieve its full potential. We are a phone call away for questions, concerns, and assistance.
Once you are satisfied with the system and your people are trained to your satisfaction, it's turned over to your operations personnel. The run-in phase assures the final proper alignment of components, distribution of lubricants by relative movements of parts, and the initial wear-in between mating surfaces.
Rated capacity testing occurs over two periods—ranging from several minutes to several hours depending on the sophistication and rate of the system. Testing verifies that the system can handle its proposed load, rates and throughput.
Punch list items are completed at this point, and final testing of the system occurs to ensure your satisfaction. The full list of questions and issues is resolved at this stage.
We extensively document your system and provide that information in electronic and print media. We retain copies to ensure you always have access to necessary information. Documentation is supplied following the commissioning phase of the system implementation to assure "as-built" accuracy.
Documentation includes, but isn't limited to:
Cisco-Eagle's Field Operations team assists systems clients who must have critical material handling infrastructure always up and running—even during holiday hours, even during the middle of the night. Our 24/7 service hotline directs customers to a service technician day or night for fast resolution. Our repair and service groups are available to clients on a contract basis (including for conveyor and other systems implemented by others).
We also advise clients on the needed spare parts inventory necessary to ensure system performance and uptime. This is a critical step for any conveying operation, since one defective component can potentially cripple a system.
Cisco-Eagle is ISNetworld certified. Our technicians are OSHA-30 trained, as are many of our engineers, consultants and contractors. We work to ensure safe behavior on site, and assistance with a safer process for all involved.
We execute these steps with you and your team, as well as our project management and others. We want you to finish the commissioning process with full confidence in your new system solution. Let's discuss your solution today!
