This space-saving AGV fits where ordinary forklifts can't. Its smaller footprint and turn radius help it clear narrow aisles and maneuver more easily than a manned forklift, giving you incredible handling versatility in tight spaces. With a load capacity of 1,100 pounds and maximum lift height of 3 feet, the A2's niche is repetitive horizontal transfers of pallets, skids, rolls, and racks.
Don't let the A2's compact profile fool you; it's tough enough to stand up to extreme environments, including cold storage. It's also useful in conveyor and ASRS interfacing, picking and placing in very narrow aisles, and, when configured as a tugger, towing carts and trailers for work-in-progress deliveries. It can even be designed with custom interfacing for specialized load handling needs.
Navigation: Choose from a variety of guidance systems based on how much flexibility you need to reroute vehicle travel paths. Inductive wire is reliable but the most difficult to reconfigure. Painted line, magnetic tape, magnetic spot, and QR code are all fairly reconfigurable. Contour and laser guidance systems are highly reconfigurable, and laser guidance additionally allows multiple pathing options.
Material handling: A2 AGVs can support the following handling units:
Battery and charging method: Depending on your productivity requirements per vehicle, you may need either a lead acid battery (higher maintenance but longer operation time) or a nickel cadmium battery (lower maintenance but shorter operation time). Charging may be either opportunity-based or scheduled, which entails automatic or manual battery exchange.
Whether you want to automate point-to-point pallet transfer, tow bulk goods from the warehouse to production, or side load totes in a narrow aisle, we can identify the correct configuration and pathing for your autonomous vehicles.
