Muratec Model A10 AGV

A flexible forklift with mid-range load capacity, the A10 AGV automates and streamlines material handling in a variety of work process requiring repetitive horizontal and vertical movement of loads. It's easy to integrate into existing workflows, improving throughput and safety without disrupting infrastructure and warehouse management systems already in place.

All A10 vehicles can operate safely in the same areas as human workers as well as areas that are inhospitable to humans, such as cold storage and warehouses without air conditioning in the summertime. With a 32' vertical lift, it's capable of reaching high rack bays, and its precision load handling is perfect for conveyor and rack interfacing, block stacking, and pallet rack/mobile rack transfers.

A10 AGVs are specialized robotic vehicles that can employ one of three transfer unit types, including forklift with reach, side loader with conveyor, and side loader with telescopic fork.

There are several navigation options to choose from. Inductive wire, which is embedded beneath the floor, ensures accurate pathing but isn't conducive to future reconfigurations. Painted line, magnetic tape, magnetic spot, and QR code navigation all rely on guidance features applied to the floor surface and are relatively amenable to pathing modifications. Contour and laser guidance are the easiest to integrate into the existing environment and most adaptable to future needs. Laser guided AGVs can also be programmed to travel multiple paths.

The final facet of customization is the battery and charging type. Choices include lead-acid, Li-Fe, and TTPL batteries. These can be charged when not in use (opportunity charge) or scheduled for battery swaps, either manual or automatic. Batteries and charging methods affect productivity, so a comprehensive AGV system design will take these factors into account.
