Ultraviolet and near ultraviolet light is very damaging to the eye, especially at the intensity of a welding arc. This 6' W x 6' H single panel screen, mounted to a lightweight aluminum frame, blocks 100% of UV light and reduces total light exposure, making the work place safer for personnel near welding operations. Even with weld screen in place, welding arc should NOT be looked at directly without additional eye protection.
