A tie rod jib crane is the most economical crane type when there is adequate building column strength to support it and counterbalance loads. Since it mounts to existing building supports, it takes up no floor space and needs no special foundation, though it does require overhead space free of obstructions within its 200 degree rotation arc. This 30' ft. span crane features 28' 10-3/4" of clear (working) span, a thrust/pull rating of 10,070 lbs., and 12" beam for the boom.

Tie rod jib cranes are an economical solution to material handling where vertical building members can provide adequate support.
This crane design allows for powered rotation add-on with all models. It also features the following:
- 200 degree rotation
- Boom has I-beam construction with mounting bracket
- Boom is supported by a threaded tie rod connected to the boom at one end and connected with a bracket to the supporting wall or column at the other end
- Capable of providing the greatest under boom work space availability, including next to the wall or column supporting the jib crane; no support components are below the boom
- Most economical jib crane type if there are no overhead clearance or building support strength limitations
- Hardware for mounting to wall or column is not included

About Tie Rod Jib Cranes
Span: The distance from the pivot point to the end of the boom. Sizes from 8 ft. to 30 ft. long.
Wall Bracket Centers: The distance between the center points of the top and bottom wall brackets.
Clear Span: The usable space upon which a trolley or hoist can travel.
Thrust/Pull: Forces exerted upon a wall by a wall mounted jib crane. Calculated as the force exerted on the top wall bracket to pull away from the wall and the force exerted on the bottom mounting bracket to push toward the wall when the crane is under maximum load.
