Unlike typical steel bollards, this flexible bollard is able to sustain a forklift impact without needing repairs or replacement. It can absorb the energy from a collision, return to a standing position, and retain its original shape. Its durable, dent-resistant shell flexes when hit and transfers energy to the core assembly, diffusing the impact forces to reduce damage to the vehicle and the concrete floor; this also makes the collision less jarring for the driver. A rotating cover helps deflect glancing blows and further protect the bollard from damage. The bollard installs easily with included anchor bolts and features all internal hardware, saving workers from catch points.
