Conveyor netting is sized to provide a 3' guarded span on each side of the conveyor. Thus, a 9' wide net configured in a box shape provides 3' vertical sides and a 3' horizontal guard beneath suspended conveyor. A 3' wide net is designed to provide 3' of guarded span on one side of the conveyor, or suspended beneath it.
To order pre-configured conveyor safety net guards, start by deciding the coverage length (the length of the conveyor run). Net guards come in lengths or 50' and 100'. They can be combined to virtually any length needed. They can cover straight and curve conveyor sections.
If your run is less than 50', or your run of conveyor comes to a length that cannot be covered by a combination of 50' and 100' sections, net can be bunched together and tied down to cover it. Order the shortest available configuration to cover your conveyor line that exceeds overall width. You can also choose to contact Cisco-Eagle and allow us to quote an exact-to-size net guard.
Next,
decide the horizontal coverage area—box-shaped or single-panel. If you need to
enclose both sides and the bottom of a conveyor, contact us for the best option. If you want to cover the bottom or just one side (Ex: for a conveyor
installed against a wall), choose a 3' wide side single-panel net. To cover two sides, order two single-panel
nets. All hardware and installation instructions are included.
