What hoist type works for you?

• Lever hoists can be used in any position and orientation, which means you don't have to have the load hanging vertically from the hoist. Sometimes called "come-alongs", they utilize a ratchet mechanism; you pull down on the lever handle to lift the load. Depending on the lift, capacities range up to 9 tons. Good for maintenance, repair and some assembly applications, construction and more
• Hand (manual) hoists are good for light loads in difficult to reach locations such as HVAC work, plumbing, home auto maintenance and crane repair. Good for precise positioning, since vertical movement is slower. They're easy to install, remove and relocate
• Electrical hoists offer heavy capacities up to five tons and are ergonomic, requiring little effort from the operator to smoothly move and control a heavy load. Ideal for higher volume applications in manufacturing, repair, maintenance and other operations
• Pneumatic (air power) hoists offer heavy capacities up to 6 tons . Use air power systems when precise positioning is the priority. Pneumatic hoists are ideal for production and assembly applications because they aren't affected by multiple stops/starts, or overall time in use
