Gate is 3'4" w x 5' 3-1/4" h. Its swinging door is 3' w x 5' h, leaving a 3-1/4" sweep space underneath. The door panel is 10-gauge steel wire woven into 2" x 1" rectangular mesh, framed in 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 3/16" steel angle. Posts are constructed with 14-gauge 2" x 2" square tubing. Two posts, a door panel, mounting hardware, and padlock lugs are included with each gate.
Combine panels, posts, and gates to create a wire barrier that keeps areas segmented and still allows visibility and access to those who need it. It's easy to install with 1/2" wedge anchors. Once erected, barriers restrict access to a work cell, machining area, conveyor, or other automated equipment and prevents employees, visitors, or contractors from wandering into an area where injuries can occur or equipment can be damaged. Physical barriers will not interrupt robotic operations through mischievous or inadvertent contact, as may happen with light curtains or switchmats. The barrier doubles as a potential safety net by helping to contain objects thrown or ejected by a malfunctioning robot.
